I bought my first mule in 1967 for coon hunting and have been a mule lover ever since. I've developed a great love and trust for mules They are very sure footed, dependable and trustworthy animals, not to mention very intelligent!! Mules are loaded with personality.

Although I no longer coon hunt, I have been competing with my mules for about 22 years now in such events as Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Trail and Halter Classes, Jumping and much more.

I have accomplished a lot in my years of competing and have won many first place trophies, 2 Governors Cups, an International First Place in Jumping, State Champions in Jumping, A National title in Trick performing and many more. I have a room full of trophies and a barn full of ribbons.

I am very proud of all my mules they each have their own unique personality. I have 6 mules: "Mattie" (Grace's full sister) "Amazing Grace", "Missy", "Abby", "Moses", and "Simon".

I guess my greatest accomplishment is having the honor of doing a movie with Robert Duvall called "Get Low" with my 5 year old mule "Amazing Grace". The movie is playing in theaters now and soon will be on a DVD. I also enjoyed filming with Larry the Cable Guy which will air in Feb. 2011.

I spend a great amount of time with my mules and have been busy training other mules as well. The lord has blessed me with a wonderful wife, family, and great mules. What more could a man ask for!!!
